The World Digital Library at the Library of Congress includes over 19,000 digital collections to be viewed and studied. The archive is broken down into multiple categories including photo/print/drawing being the largest and software/e-resources and web page being the smallest. The collection is massive due to the fact that it includes not just books, and written works, but also photographs of hundreds and thousands of artifacts that otherwise could not be seen. The archive also breaks down collections based off locations such as Washington D.C. and Uzbekistan for an example. The largest language collection is in Arabic followed by Chinese and Persian.
